101 Everyday Pleasures

I loved seeing the title "101 Everyday Pleasures" on Yahoo today and so I had to give you the link in case you missed it and to highlight a few I thought were the best (and my personal additions).


12. a handwritten letter (written or received)

13. waking up in a good mood...for no real reason

35. finding the perfect piece of clothing...on sale

48. singing along to the radio and knowing all the words

62. green lights all the way home

72. slow dancing (end if it is in the kitchen!)

73. the smell of fresh-baked bread

74. cheesy, uplifting musicals

76. the smell of gasoline (glad I am not the only one)

77. the cold side of the pillow

79. old friends... (one is silver . . .

80. ...new friends ( . . . and the other's gold)

81. a pull-through parking space (especially if I am driving Brent's truck)

82. a baguette -- crisp on the outside, airy on the inside (second reference to bread to make my list, but butter didn't make it?)

87. Girl Scout Cookies (and I was never a Girl Scout)

93. old photographs (even with embarrassing 7th grade hair and make up)

96. a spoonful of peanut butter straight from the jar

100. having exact change (it is like winning a contest)
