I went to see my endocrinologist on Monday and was very pleased to hear that my latest AIC (three month glucose average) was 5.9! Even better than my last at 6.0. Anything below 7.0 is considered good for a diabetic, 6.0 or below is considered "normal" for anyone who is not diabetic. YEAH ME for being normal! They were so happy that they said I didn't have to come back until after the baby is here. That means no more endocrinologist for 3 months! Of course I still have an OB appointment every week and a perinatalogist appointment every other week for the next 5 weeks, but that it is okay. It is all worth it to have a healthily baby boy!
But if my numbers are so good, why Gage is measuring 2 weeks big?
