Banana Spilt Cake Roll

Last night I made the dessert from the cover of the magazine Diabetic Living that my mom gave me last week.

I have to say, when I tasted just the banana cake and strawberry filling separately I thought this was going to be a disaster. Together it is good and with chocolate syrup, it is great. And totally worth it at 20 g of carbs a serving!

I just wish mine was as pretty!
